SISTERS FROM MONGU DIOCESE CELEBRATE SILVER JUBILEE OF THEIR DIOCESE

The Catholic Diocese of MONGU is celebrating it’s Silver Jubilee to mark 25 years of it’s establishment.

The Daughters of the Redeemer sisters that come from the Diocese are participating in the celebrations. Today the celebrations started with a match past followed by performances from the deaneries at Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral.

The Daughters of the Redeemer were exhibiting and promoting vocations at the celebration.

The Daughters of the Redeemer are serving in Mongu Diocese running Mangango Mission Hospital which they took over in March 1998 from the Sisters of Franciscan Missionaries of Divine Motherhood (FMDM).

Tomorrow, August 26 will be the climax of the Silver Jubilee. The Holy Mass will be celebrated at Mongu Catholic College of Education.
